5 Tips to Make Your "Drink Only" Day Easier
1. I NEVER call it "No Food" day, because it reminds me of food. That's why I call these days "Drink Only" days.
2. I make it every second week. More often would be too often for me.
3. During the day I drink only calorie free beverages, like water and green tea. But at the times of breakfast, lunch and dinner, I drink good quality fruit juices. One or two glasses are enough.
4. I eat light foods in the previous afternoon and evening, and in the next morning. And I do the decision to make a "Drink Only" day the previous afternoon at the latest. I do it regulary, but different days of the week.
5. I make my day busy (but not hard!) to keep my attention away from eating and food. These days are like ordinary days for me. I have done it many times on working days and on weekends as well. Sometimes I read more, I watch a movie or I have a long walk, because I have some extra time without meals.
If you try it, I would like to ask you to keep a cereal bar or something like this close to you during the day, for safety reasons. I have never touched my "safety bar" on my "Drink Only" days, because following the above mentioned tips, these days are really easy for me.
You can also do it with a partner to support each other.
Have a nice and healthy day!
