3 Healthy Ways of Snacking

Are you about to lose some weight? This one helps me to get in shape and stay in shape. 3 simple tips.

1. I often long for some sweeties. Long ago I grabbed a bar of chocolate or some biscuits, candies and this kind of things.

Today I do it a different way. I eat different kinds of fruits instead of chocolates. It is easy to find my favorite ones from the many kinds of fruits which are available today in supermarkets. Of course I prefer the seasonal fruits, but also some other kinds as well to make my dish more interesting and colourful. This way I can reduce calorie and eat more natural. I am careful with fruits after 17:00 because they contain fructose. But other times of the day I eat them as my number one vitamin resources.

2. What if I want to eat something crunchy and salty. For example during watching a movie or when I have guests. I choose to have some kind of seeds and nuts these times. I can buy natural, roasted and salted too. I like them natural unroasted and unsalted. But if I want something really tasty, I choose to have the roasted version. If someone likes salty seeds and nuts it is still much healthier than the popular crisps or other kinds of baked and salted biscuits.
3. I eat a small amount of fruits, seeds and nuts before my mail meals to feel less hungry. This way I eat less together.
My routine before my main meals:
  • 1-2 glasses of water 15 minutes before meals
  • a piece of fruit or a palm of seeds and nuts 10 minutes before meals
I have found that the more natural I eat fruits, seeds and nuts, the more healthier I feel as a result.
